How the programme works

The Developmental Framework

Six principles guide how children practise, receive feedback, meet challenge and progressively take greater ownership.

Practice creates transfer — skills develop through repeated practice, not explanation alone.

Skills develop in context — the same mastery skills are practised across academic, creative, physical and practical activities.

Reinforcement should be specific — feedback names the behaviour, so children recognise what success looks like.
